Mosaic Cake
I did this mosaic cake for a class I took from Diane Simmons at an ICES DOS weekend. The flowers around it are my first attempts at royal icing flowers from course 3 and the flower on top is a rice paper flower. I was not finished with this cake when I took the pic. It is a dummy cake.
It is done on fondant. Thank you for all your nice comments. You know we are our own worst critics....lol The yellow was done with color mixed with vodka so it was much smoother looking. The green and purple were color mixed with piping gel which came out looking yucky....

is that imprinted on buttercream or fondant? It is hard to tell. That is such a pretty cake!
