My Ugly Flip Flop Cake
I wanted to try a flip flop cake. It's pathetic. My fondant straps didn't match the blue in the flip flop so I had to ice the fondant. Blue is way too dark. I should've used a contrasing color instead of doing it all blue. I'll do better next time. Thanks to BJ for answering my questions. OH forgot to say it's a red velvet cake w/cream cheese frosting.

I don't think it looks pathetic either. I think you did a great job. I am wanting to do a flip flop cake but I am chicken to carve a cake.
