Musical Cake
My husband and I collaborated on an idea for this cake for a musician. Hand-sculpted bas relief harps with gold luster, gold rope trim, piano keys are sculpted and airbrushed black along with the record. Red fondant drape and red roses (hid a huge boo-boo, and ended up a happy mistake). Fondant cut-outs of notes/guitar, etc.
wow this is great. Wish I had seen it earlier when I needed to make a graduation cake for a "music" person... it's beautiful! What is a bas relief? If you make up instructions, I'd love to have 'em [email protected]
