Another Ny Yankee Cap
I got lots of great ideas from other CCers and I came up with this. First time with a cap. White cake with raspberry filling and covered with fondant. Hope it tastes okay...he wouldn't cut it.

I think it looks terrific!!! How did you set it up? Did you cook it in a bowl?
Sorry I should have said that I used a 6 inch round and half a sports ball pan for the cap. Iced it up with BC and covered with fondant. The bill is just a piece of cardboard with fondant and gumpaste on it and shaped around the cake. Thanks!

Nice job! Though I must say the decorations are a bit off.. as a proud member of Red Sox Nation I can't think anything Yankees is good.. :P

That's okay...half my family are yankee fans and other half are red sox so I know I can't win with this one. :wink:
