OK, this is a practice cake I made. I wanted to practice stacking cakes, making bows, and making cornelli lace. I learned a lot including what to do better next time. Everything is mmf, royal lace. Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks! I had a tone of pink/purple fondant left over from a dora cake I did last week so I mixed with with white mmf and that's the color we got. I needed a batch and a 1/4 for a cake last week, so I started filling pans until I ran out of batter. I am not fond of the royal icing dots that outline the lace on the top and bottom borders. I'll have to figure out what else to do instead next time. I'm not very good at working with royal icing. Thanks for looking.
