Grad Cake

Grad Cake on Cake Central

My niece's Graduation cake, in her school colours of course. This cake became a challange - but she loved it and that is what counts to me. The bottom layer was funfetti cake with choc filling, midlle was Choc cake with caramel, and top (hat) was strawberry cake with cream cheese filling. It was not perfect but I am not unhappy with how it turned out.

Oh well, no Pillsbury here in China, do you by chance have a scratch recipe for it? Sounds like a lot of fun, especially for kids

Sorry Ursula - I am a box mix baker, try asking in the 'how to' forum, someone is bound to be able to tell you.

Hi Ursula - funfetti is a box mix (Pilsbury), is a white cake with flecks of varios colours through it - tastes great and look great for a happy occasion. Yes it was huge - bottom layer was 16" round and 4" deep - glad everyone there loved cake, top two were finished and there was still a fair amount of the monster one left at the end of the party.
