I have tried this before and when I start to pour the fondant on top I can never get it to cover the sides. What is your trick to this or what am I doing wrong? Please help. I would love to be able to make these.
Debbie, I don't always get my sides completely covered but when i pour from the pot i just keep going pouring round and round on top til I fill like they are covered.

Are these the traditional pound cake type petit, with poured glaze? The look adorable!
Thanks. I use a white cake; buttercream on top; then the traditional poured fondant on top of that.
