I got my inspiration from the 2004 Wilton book. There is a cake that has multiple "baskets" using the petal pan. Instructions were there: I drew a semicircle on parchment paper. Made a rope over it using royal icing. Let it dry for 24 hours, turn it around, added toothpicks at the ends for support on the cake and piped the other side with the same tip and icing. It was very fragile, I will probably use color flow next time.

Another perfect basketweave and adorable cake. The handle is wonderful & I never would have thought of that. I love the simplicity of the grass & jellybeans-it's very cute without overdoing it. Wonderful work.
