Easter Cake 2007
This was my first attempt at decorating a cake, and with Easter coming up I decided to go with that theme. It's four 8" layers - two devil's food and two Southern Heirloom, iced entirely in buttercream. The eggs are candy-coated chocolate that I purchased.

All looks perfect! Your basketweave, shells and don't know what the swirly top border is called, but I love it!
It's beautiful! I'm doing a cake today just like this for our Easter dinner. I plan to use plastic eggs and fill them with goodies for the kids.
