The Tool Box
This cake was done for a Jack and Jill Wedding shower. The couple were both remarrying and they were having a Lowes gift card party. I was asked to make tools or something. All of the Tools are White and colored chocolate and dusted with silver luster dust. The cake is a 1/2 sheet cut in half and stacked, and a 8"round for the top.
This is exactly what I was looking for .....a way to make tools without the use of fondant (which I need more practise with). Your cake....from what you described the 1/2 sheet and the circle was it fairly esy to assemble? Did you bamboo skewer it together... what kind of cake did you use that would be dense enough to hold the circle shape pieces? Perhaps you could email me the details I definetly want to make this for father's day!!! [email protected] :D
