Sweets Cake

This cake was made for my daughter’s 10h birthday. The bottom tier was a chocolate cake with espresso buttercream, middle tier was strawberry cake with cheesecake (and a light coating of vanilla buttercream to hold them together) the top tier was just a chocolate shell molding from a 6” cake pan and filled with m&m’s before being covered in fondant, the giant cupcake was cotton candy flavored and painted with gold luster dust. I got the idea from running across it online, finding out after the fact it was in a wilton yearbook.

Thank you SO much!! It did take me a while, I started with all the candies and I’d do them and ziploc them and just pray that I’d made enough of each candy

I'll bet your daughter's friends are STILL talking about this cake!!  Love the hollowed out shell filled with candy, too!

It was hilarious because the whole time I was making this cake, she’d come into the kitchen and tell me how bad she wanted to go to this little girl’s birthday party. Everything was a surprise down to my husband bringing her to the venue because “I’d left something for the cake at home that they needed to bring me”. It was awesome! Thanks!
