This cake, as many of my cakes, was made for a fundraiser for Westerly School Long Beach, CA. Theme of the festive evening was The Funky 70's. The entire base is cake, as well as the Volkswagon. Of course everything is edible. Edible images of the staff on the VW etc. The fun part is that the day after the gala event the cake is taken to the school and the children all get a piece of cake! It more than fed the school so the remains went home with the auction winner. I have blurred the faces of the children for privacy but last pic is of some of the children at the school, about to partake in the cake!
