Cake International Birmingham 2016 Owl Tree - Silver Medal

And this was my 6 and last piece that I took to Cake International Birmingham on 2016. Yes, I took 6 entries, 5 Golds and 1 Silver on my first time entering this amazing competition. My Owl Tree got a Silver Medal and i was so intrigued that I went to talk with the judges to understand why… and the answer was that the owls should be 2mm smaller… that they could fit in the mouth… or that you couldn’t eat them in one bit… I must say that I was really surprised but I learn my lesson (and that’s the point of competing…you are always learning).
