Lady Mandolin

Sugar Sculpture for a cake competition November 2017 in Calgary Alberta

She is created from an internal structure of copper tubing and sculpted in modelling chocolate. Clothing is fondant, edible silk fabric, and modelling chocolate accents. The board is a technique recreating cork flooring using butchers paper, nontoxic glue, food color gels and confectioners glaze.

The cake display board is 24 x 24. She sits @ 20" tall.

She won first in Category (sculpted cakes) and second in my division (professional)
