This was for my husband's birthday. Every year I make him an Oreo cake. This year after realizing he's been on a mint Oreo and thin mint craze, I decided on mint chocolate chip. For the buttercream, I put chocolate chips and mint Oreos in the food processor and also flavored it with mint flavoring. I made a ganache and decorated using crushed mint Oreos and and whole Oreos for the top. The actual cake was chocolate. The flavors were spot on.
