I made this cake for my daughter. She is our youngest and just turned 21 years old. I should feel old but I don't. Life is good! I've been making my kids cakes for years now. So, it wasn't anything for me to make her a birthday cake. However, this time I decided that this birthday was special and I was going to do something unique for her. There was nothing special about the flavor but I did think about making her favorite which is Almond Amaretto Cream; just not this time. I kept if pretty plain and simple with a vanilla cake and Swiss buttercream. However, I did bury a bottle of Patron tequila inside this cake. It was a fantastic experience!
