While these are nothing spectacular to look at, I wanted to share the because they were really good! They are chocolate beer batter cupcakes with maple frosting and candied bacon topping. There is stout beer in the cupcakes and I must say they are one of my favorite cupcakes. The maple frosting on it’s own is quite sweet but is balanced well with the cupcake and slight saltiness of the bacon topping. If anyone is interested I can share the recipes I used.
