Sarah's Wedding

Bride gave me a photograph of a cake she liked, however, she wanted it designed with her colors and in ivory. Cake was vanilla rum filled with guava and SMBC. I crumb coated cake with chocolate ganache then covered with fondant.

I bought a new camera lens, 50mm, and I am amazed the difference it makes. I have been spending the time to get to know my camera better because it is so hard to get professional photographs of your cakes from the photographers. I am willing to pay for them.

Hello! What a beautiful cake! How did you get such a true purple on your flowers? When I try to color anything purple, it tends to come out looking a little grey. I have tried pre-made purples and mixing my own with red and blue. Thanks!
