This is my Queen Apailana, I made for The Bakers strike back collaboration. Apailana was a human female monarch who served as the Queen of Naboo during the final days of the Clone Wars and the early days of the Galactic Empire. She attended the funeral of Senator Padmé Amidala after the senator’s death. She made from Saracino modelling paste. Her textured gown is airbrushed in gold, and the border is handpainted with gold. Her beautiful headdress is made with fondant and waferpaper and the hanging jewels (inspired by JT Cakes royal icing chains video https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=947788818619373&set=vb.100001647920495&type=2&theater ) are made with aquafaba icing (vegan icing) and painted with gold dust.
