King Protea/ South African 50Th

This was my second attempt at making this large King Protea back in 2013. .... The last picture is my third protea and I have a TUTORIAL on this here at this link to my shop https://www.facebook.com/callicious/app_251458316228

This is a fruit cake base, Royal iced and Handpainted with scenes from Cape Town in South Africa, for a lady who came from there. Top tier is a covered dummy cake I did skin design onto.

Toppers are (as mentioned) King Protea as well as flame lilies (national flower of Zimbabwe)
