My class was asked to use a shutterfly wedding invite as inspiration for a wedding cake. This cake features gumpaste poppies and ranunculus in warm hues. The top tier a black fondant, chalkboard, cake with a monogram of the couple's initials. The middle tier is buttercream in a textured ruffle pattern. The third tier is an ivory fondant with images from the invite piped in royal icing.
