Where The Wild Things Are

Made for the first birthday of a friend's grandson. 12" round WASC cake with Vanilla Almond VIVA crusting buttercream and Sunnyside Up Bakery (Hobby Lobby's) fondant. Had a hard time using the fondant, as it wanted to give me elephant skin and showed every flaw. Ugh! Greenery is gumpaste - wired, veined, and dusted. Figures are out of homemade modelling chocolate. Supported with plastic sucker sticks and toothpicks. Had to make in such a way as could be disassembled to go on an airplane and reassembled by friend.
