Wonderful job!!! Wonder if you have a tutorial? I don't dare show this to my son...he will probably want to have one just like this!! :)

Thanks for your lovely comments. I really appreciate them given I bake only twice a year for my kids' birthdays and never attended a course - just self- taught watching tutorials and adding my own personal twist.

@Rohini - I do not have a tutorial but here is how i proceeded.

First I printed a template of the millennium falcon and then had it cut out on piece of thin wood. I then covered the cut out wooden template with fondant so that it would not touch with the cake.

I then baked two cakes - one squarish and one circular large enough to fit in on the circular part of the cut out template and high enough for carving.

Once baked and cooled I took the round cake, took a plastic glass and pressed it in the middle of the round cake and started cutting and carving around it. I used the rectangular cake to cut out the front part of the cake. After that i proceeded to place other pieces of cake on top of it to give it shape.  It helped having a paper print out of the cake to see where I needed to carve more or add the extra layers of cake.

I then proceeded to cover it with  buttercream and let it sit in the fridge for an hour or two and the covered with fondant using lots of patience and imagination. Since it was for my son's birthday i tried using different shades of grey to give it some edge.

Here is what the underneath of the covered cake looked like, before covering it with buttercream. The circle in the middle is the starting point from where i place the plastic glass facing down and carved around.

Hope this helps  :)
