Hi :) I made this baptism cake for a friend of a friend. It is a two layer cake with buttercream icing, the cross is made of melted white chocolate candy. I pierced the mold at the bottom of the cross and placed a wooden skewer in it before pouring in the melted candy, when it solidified, I pushed it through the cake and cakeboard. It was sharp at the bottom end. I also added it last, after delivering the cake, I placed it on. The bible is rice crispy treat covered in fondant, the roses, leaves and banner are made of gum-paste and painted with gold dust and vodka, the rosary is made of fondant.
