I have to say I’m so, so proud and grateful to have participated in this collaboration! The admin team that is running the show is absolutely amazing. They're patient, hard working and so very kind hearted. It started with a vision and they then had bakers and cake designers complete sugar pieces and then their talented graphic designers pieced them all together to create the beautiful, wintry, cheerful scene, known as Frostington Village. One stipulation was that each baker and cake designer had to submit either a recipe or tutorial along with their sugar piece. They then compiled those recipes and tutorials into booklets for the public to purchase. All the proceeds from the sales go toward their three nominated charities: Icing Smiles, Inc., Alzheimer’s Society and Australian Melanoma Research Foundation.
All within the Spirit of Christmas…I think they’ve nailed it!
You can purchase your booklets and raffle tickets here : http://christmasinfrostington.org/ There is also the option to donate as well should you not want to purchase.
My contribution was Scrooge’s Study in the mansion on the Frostington hill. I had the best time creating him…as miniature modelling isn’t something I do often and knowing it was all for gracious causes. Very grateful for the opportunity. xx
