Can you tell me what color did you use for the main color of the wood? I thought I thought I would use gray for the main color of the bucket and then use a sponge to put silver edible spray.  Do you think that will work? Thank you. For your help. My sister wants this cake for her wedding

Sorry but I just saw your msg. I used a mix of brown and tan and grey, made ropes, twisted, folded until it looked a little like a candy cane...then rolled it out flat so the colors blended a little like wood grain and then cut out the strips and laid them on the cake. - the bucket was grey with blue, black and grey stippling.
