Hunger Games Cake
This cake was a labor of love! The mockingjay emblem on top was hand cut and hand sculpted from gumpaste 3 weeks in advance . The flames are pulled sugar, the district emblem was cut from fondant and hand painted. The arrow is a painted (with food coloring) bamboo skewer with added gumpaste tip and feathers.
i love his cake, but what is pulled sugar? and do you think the emblem on top can be done in modeling chocolate. i have tried and tried with gumpaste and i am just not any good with it, but have had a lot of luck with modeling chocolate.
and are those pan sizes 12in and 8in?
