Welcoming Spring
After a drive through downtown yesterday, and seeing all the beautiful flowering trees, I couldn't resist doing a dogwood cake. Plus...I'd never used any of my oval pans, so it was just a fun thing to do. Crusting buttercream icing...gumpaste blossoms...fondant branch...edible ink leaves on wafer paper.
Great job. I love that shade of green and the dogwoods are gorgeous. Very Spring-y!!!
