I entered this cake into my first ever baking competition at our local Spring Fair yesterday. I didn't expect to win anything as there were about 15 other lovely looking cakes but they were all judged on looks and taste. Couldn't believe it when they called my name out for 1st prize!! Everyone has to start somewhere I guess! I made the tulle pom pom bunting too; couldn't find what I wanted in the shops. Thanks for stopping by :)
