Golf Cart
Birthday cake for a woman who uses a golf cart to get around town! I based the design on actual pictures of the golf cart. It is carved from carrot cake sitting on top of a 10 inch 1/2 chocolate 1/2 vanilla with raspberry filling. MMF wheels, steering wheel, pedals, rearview mirror, slow-moving vehicle sign, bumper and hitch. Skewers covered in tinfoil for poles and cardstock covered in tinfoil for utility box.

Great cake, You did a awesom job! I did a car once, and the wheels looked flat, how did you keep yours from flatting out? I'm guessing I just didn't let them dry enough to keep their shape. I guess I will have to plan more ahead to allow for drying time.
The wheels I rolled a ball of MMF with gumtex in it and slightly flattened it. Then I took a #12 tip and using the larger end cut out the middle. I added the details in buttercream the next day and added them to the cake.
wow, i had to do a double take, though it was real at first. great job!
