I made this cake for my sister's baby shower, which included 40+ guests. My sister does not know the sex of the baby, so we included both blue and pink. Cake has 5 layers, two tiers of homemade vanilla cake, with vanilla buttercream, covered in fondant. Blocks are made of same.
