This was a birthday cake for a retired obstetrician. The family wanted some humour so asked me to do a cake with a doctor about to deliver a baby. I had to think a bit on how I could do this and it still be in my comfort level. So this is what I came up with. The characters are made out of gumpaste and fondant and the vanilla cake is covered also in fondant.
