Final Cake Course Iii on Cake Central

This cake is covered in rolled buttercream instead of fondant I hate the way fondant taste. The rolled buttercream was harder to work with though it kept breaking, I guess it will become an easier medium with practice I think this came out ok for a first time. Thanks for viewing.

fondant roses as required for your final cake. I think I do buttercream and royal icing roses much better but these are ok I guess. Thanks again

Have you tried Marshmallow Fondant ? It has a very smooth texture esp. if you add a little but of Crisco in it. It comes out so smooth and does not crack.

Thanks everybody, Mahal Thanks for the info,this was my first time trying on my own I did a fondant present cake but hated the fondant tast. I'm gonna go on line and find a Marshmellow Fondant and I'm gonna try it. ;-D
