I simply cut a strip off of the plastic tablecloth and wrapped it around the cake. I made the cake for my nephew and ran out of time to make fondant squares...just in case you're wondering...it did not leave any kind of plasticky taste.

Hi! Great Cake!!! How did you do the sides. Did you use some type of ribbon or the paper you used to cover the cake board?
