This was made for my youngest brother who has been deployed to Afghanistan. I made it with the flag on the inside layering, but was too busy at the party to remember to take a picture once it was cut! :P On the back is the Air Force motto. It's buttercream. I normally do fondant, but since I had to travel 650 miles back home and THEN make the cake- I decided against bringing all of my fondant tools for the trip.
