(May 21, 2011) This is my 1st wedding cake. I hand made the flowers from fondant. It had a big bow that was supposed to go on the front with the flowers like a bouquet; however, teh bow broke as i was putting it on the cake so i had to improvise. The bow was the same color as teh band. I sprayer the cake with a pearl luntre spray. I didnt like the effect on the band. (Note to self). I love the covered buttons down the back! Not perfect, but it was fine. There was barely any left, so it apparently didnt taste bad. Yellow butter cake with cream cheese filling and buttercream crumb coat covered in fondant.
