I'm making a replica of my parents' wedding cake for their 50th wedding anniversary, so since I'm still quite the newbie, I thought it'd be a good idea to do some practice cakes first. I'm not following the original design exactly, the anniversary cake is definitely influenced by it. :-) I got sloppy with the roses, but my focus was on doing the cornelli lace and swags--those damn swags took some practice before I was able to do them evenly, lol.
