Butter Lemon Cake
This is my 1st time to do a layered cake. Used a regular serrated knife and tried freezing the cake prior to icing and torting. Followed tips I got from CC. Iced with Swiss Meringue and filled with lemon curd mixed with buttercream.
It is SO FUNNY to me that you posted this cake picture. Just a few weeks ago I made my very first ever cake and it was almost identical. White cake with lemon curd filling and vanilla bean swiss meringue buttercream. Needless to say, yours is much prettier!
