I was commissioned to create this in April 2011 for a client who'd seen a similar photo of a smaller cake and needed a full-sized cake version. Took a few liberties, myself, as I went and was mostly pleased with the finished result. All materials either buttercream or marshmallow fondant; the only non-edible support in the entire project was one single toothpick used to help hold up the fondant sailboat, and probably was expendable in the end. Faucet made of dark gray fondant painted with light silver petal dust.
