I made this cake for the baptism of twins Amanda and Christopher. Because they are boy and girl, I wanted to have a design that shows feminine side and male side. So I made my design with a pink and beige flowers cascade on one side an on the other side, it is a blue and beige buttons cascade. The baby carriage is hand made with a side for the baby girl and another for the baby boy. This 80 portions serving cake is a chocolate cake with chocolate ganache and custard. All decorations are hand made fondant. The bows have pearl luster dust on to make them shine. I used on this cake different techniques that I wanted to test since a long time. It was my fisrt time trying the billowing technique and I really enjoy the result ! Thank you for looking !
