This was a cake for a project in college. The idea was to represent prospect refuge; to see but not be seen. The woman under the trees can see out to the kids playing or someone walking by but they might not be able to see her at first glance. Its a lemon cake with strawberry filling and french vanilla butter cream. The trees and play equipment are modeling chocolate. The leaves are piped from the butter cream. The people are fondant. The rocks are chocolate store bought rocks from Wal-Mart and the trail is crushed chocolate chip teddy grahams. Thanks for looking!
