Made this for a visiting preacher who preached a revival at our church. It happened to be Easter Week as well so that called for a special cake. The cake was chocolate with 6 layers of chocolate ganache and covered in chocolate buttercream. The sparrow is modeling chocolate and the scripture roll is marshmallow fondant. I wanted to get the whole verse in these but the writing was just too small. Matthew 6:26 is the verse and reads "Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?"
