Boots are white cake with vanilla buttercream covered and decorated in fondant with a fondant rope. They didn't really turn out how I would have liked but it was a last minute cake for a friend so I had no gameplan going into this on how I was going to carve it. I will do several things differently next time which includes getting proper measurements so they can be on a better scale.
