I know this is an old post for you but could please tell me how you did the animals? They are are amazing and so is this cake! I have been wanting to do this cake, but trying to figure the animals out :( please help.. lol thanks!

Sorry to be so late responding, but I've just discovered this comment.  The animals are made as royal icing transfers.
