I Love it - VERY PRETTY!! Is the stand just covered boards on wine or champagne glasses?? Also, what are the hearts?

thanks all.. the cups are not from wilton nut..i got it from one of the supplier in the country i am residing - Singapore. The tiers is just a wooden plank and I used the champagne glasses for the legs. The hearts are made from pressed icing
