Sample Cake
This cake is all royal icing and was our sample cake that we did on completion of an intermediate cake decorating course. It's also my first picture on CC! I think my favorite part of this cake is the little basket on the side with the teeny roses. Too fun!

Thanks! You can buy the basket molds (I think they're Wilton?) and then you can do any technique on them and then just let them dry and carefully take them off of them mold and put them on your cake. (With royal icing, of course. And I think we used a little shortening to help them come off easier after they harden.) I'm really thinking of using the basket idea again for Easter.
