This was a graduation cake for a co-worker's son. He was a duel History and Economics major at University of Missouri (MU). The left side of the cake was the History side featuring a Napoleon hat, British and French flags, and a fondant recreation of his favorite book "Nelson's Navy". The right side was the econ side with a fondant notebook with graphs and a chalkboard with an actual economic formula bearing the school's initials. Of course, the classic MU paw print is featured in the center. This was a first try at really 'painting' with food coloring for the book. Was a little challenging, but I think the results were good.
