This was a Father's Day cake for the fathers in my family and they always like chocolate/chocolate cake. So, I iced the cake with a homemade chocolate buttercream and did the cornelli lace with the Wilton chocolate frosting in a can which added contrast and gave the cornelli lace a more masculine look. After making this cake, I decided to invest in a tilting turntable.
