Very nice. Is that BC or Fondant? I need to make a golf themed cake for Easter!??
Yes, it is fondant on the ball only. I can't remember what I used to make the dimples. I found something in my kitchen that had a rounded end and used it to press in. I used too much buttercream underneath it though. That is why it looks sort of lumpy. If I made it again, I think I would use little or no buttercream on the ball since there was plenty of sheet cake for everyone to eat. I used an edible marker to make the Nike swoosh because that is the type of balls he plays with. Good luck!
I used the small sports ball cake pan from Wilton that makes a full ball.
