Golf Course

The idea for these cupcakes came from "What's New, Cupcake?" by Karen Tack and Alan Richardson. The sand trap is vanilla wafer crumbs. The golf balls are frozen buttercream icing with white nonpareils on them (I couldn't get them to stick to the gumballs, as the book suggested!) The flag is a pretzel stick with an Air Head candy molded around the top, and the hole is a chocolate chip.
